It’s called Midway Atoll now, thanks to the US Fish and Wildlife, but traditionally it’s been named Midway Island. And yes. The largest and occupied island within the atoll is Sand Island.
Hi- Is it possible to trade FD patches? I am a Deputy Chief in New Jersey and would love to trade one of my FD’s patches with a Midway one. I have always wanted to visit Midway and the Fire Station, but I know it’s not possible given the current restrictions. I’m an optimist, so I’ll hold out hope that I’ll will get there one day!
